Since our inception in 1992, The International Association of Black Actuaries has worked to improve diversity within the actuarial professional societies by offering a network of support to black students and professionals who have traditionally been underrepresented in this field.
The IABA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that works with the International Association of Black Actuaries’ staff, donors, and the actuarial community at large to enhance the International Association of Black Actuaries’ goals which include:
- Recognizing and encouraging academic achievement through scholarships, and recognitions.
- Support of initiatives focusing on:
- Leadership;
- Industry Involvement;
- Membership;
- Service to collegians and high school students.
Put simply, the IABA Foundation turns potential into reality and opportunity into experience.
