Write a personal statement that addresses each of the following:

1. Why are you interested in becoming an actuary?
2. Explain how your participation in activities, organizations, hobbies, etc. expresses your determination and self-motivation.
3. Describe how you currently contribute or plan to contribute to the mission of IABA (found on our homepage) and the field of actuarial science.

Note that an excessively long personal statement may count against you.
