Working Together to Improve Diversity in the Actuarial Profession!

Since our inception in 1992, The International Association of Black Actuaries has worked to improve diversity within the actuarial professional societies by offering a network of support to black students and professionals who have traditionally been underrepresented in this field.

The IABA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that works with the International Association of Black Actuaries’ staff, donors, and the actuarial community at large to enhance IABA’s goals which include:  recognizing and encouraging academic achievement through scholarships and recognitions; support of initiatives focusing on leadership, industry involvement, membership and service to collegians and high school students. Put simply, the IABA Foundation turns potential into reality and opportunity into experience.
