Join us for our next group outing: a hike at *Theodore Roosevelt Island in Arlington, VA*!

When: Saturday, September 12 at 3:00 PM ET
Where: Theodore Roosevelt Island, Arlington, VA
Meet: Parking lot off the northbound George Washington Memorial Parkway (only accessible from northbound lanes) — look for the footbridge to the island. We’ll gather there and head in together.

A few details to help you plan:

Distance/difficulty: ~2.5 miles, mostly flat and easy terrain — great for all levels
Parking: Free lot, but fills up on weekends — try to arrive 15 min early. Carpooling welcome!
Metro: Rosslyn Station (Blue/Orange/Silver), ~20 min walk
Bring: Water, sunscreen, bug spray, closed-toe shoes (mosquitoes can be active in Sept)
Weather: Rain or shine unless severe — we’ll post updates here if anything changes
After: Optional food/drinks nearby in Rosslyn or Georgetown
