Dr. Margaret-Mary Wilson is Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President, UnitedHealthcare Global. Dr. Wilson is board certified in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Healthcare Quality Management and completed a Clinical Cardiology fellowship at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School in Hammersmith Hospital, UK. Dr. Wilson is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom and a Fellow of the American Institute of Healthcare Quality, the American Board of Quality Assurance & Utilization Review Physicians and the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria. Dr. Wilson also holds a Masters in Business Administration with a specialization in Healthcare Management.
Prior to Joining UnitedHealthcare in 2008, Dr. Wilson was an Associate Professor of Internal and Geriatric Medicine at St Louis University, Missouri, where she also served as Director of Geriatric Ambulatory Services and Director of the Ortho-Geriatric Service. Her experience also includes direct patient care, medical education, patient safety, quality improvement, risk management, and utilization management in a variety of healthcare settings in Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Dr. Wilson has received numerous awards in the field of medicine, including the Kathy Humphrey Award for Excellence in the promotion of cultural diversity in medical education, LIDE de Saúde Healthcare Award for the most prominent name in Brazilian medicine in 2018, Chevening award from the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office, John H. Gladney Diversity Award for outstanding performance as a medical educator and 2018 ‘Women worth Watching’ Leadership Award. Dr. Wilson has over 70 publications in peer-reviewed medical journals and textbooks.

Standford earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University. He began his career in 1986 as a Civil Servant with the US Air Force. He was introduced to probabilistic assessments in a Reliability Training Program taught at the Air Force Institute of Technology. He enjoyed this work and considered it fun.
In 1989, Stan transferred to NASA as a Reliability Engineer working Propulsion Systems for the Space Shuttle Program and the Space Station Freedom Program. These were exciting times as he gained more experience in reliability block diagram modeling and began to use the assessments to predict system reliability and mission success. When NASA-Johnson Space Center was assigned responsibility for the International Space Station Program, Stan accepted position in the program office as Chair, Reliability and Maintainability Panel. He continued to emphasize probabilistic assessments with a careful focus on fidelity of data, ground rules and assumptions. His leadership supported successful baseline and certification of ISS hardware and systems, and contributed to continuous inhabitance of astronauts on the International Space Station since November 2000. Based on system performance to date, the International Space Station is expected to operate until 2030.
Stan now serves as Lead for Special Projects with emphasis on Safety, Reliability, Quality Assurance, and Risk Management for commercial vehicles delivering cargo and crew to the International Space Station. He is active in professional organizations and is a founding member of the Greater Houston Area Chapter for Society of Reliability Engineers. Additionally, Stan served as a member of the formation committee for the “Reliability Analytics” Special Interest Group of the Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals.
